Hardly... the tour managed perfectly well without him.

Is it his scriptwriters or the autocue operators who are to blame then?

I am a huge Brucie fan from the past but I really think he's passed his sell by date by about 5 years.

John Barrowman is my idea of TV hell. Attention seeking, over the top and so me me me.

Not overly keen on John Barrowman presenting Strictly for some undefined, vague reasons but it just doesn't feel right.

Like the idea of Aled Jones being given the opportunity but if they want to consider people with experience in dance and comedy what about Brian Conely. He had a succesful period appearing in West End theatre, not sure why it stopped, can sing, dance and do comedy. Not sure if comedy is a necessary skill for the programme tbh as it should focus on the dancing first.

I would love to see Gethin and Alesha present the show together.

LoL. That's like saying that last years Terminator convention managed perfectly well without Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I can't believe it, i actually spelt Arnie's name right without looking!

Aled or Gethin for me, I like the suggestion of Gethin with Alesha

I'd be happy with either Gethin or Aled rather than John Barrowman when Brucie calls it a day. Just something about the guy that puts me off...

Not John Barrowman - guy is so plastic..........false and over the top....all look at me...

I hope not - would put me off the show.....have to hit the mute button.

I agree with you VL. I used to be a big fan of him but lately he just gets on my nerves attention grabbing all the time.

Aled Jones would be fabulous.

I think Gethin is not yet a good enough presenter to carry the show ,I didn't think he was brilliant on New Year's Eve ; given more " ad lib" experience he would be great , but I hope Brucie will stay a bit longer .

Please, please not John Barrowman, what a phoney.

If he does end up presenting it I'll never be able to watch it live again, will have to record it and forward through all his parts.

Please, no. Bless him, but he has no experience presenting and I think he could be unbearable.

I think I would rather prefer John Barrowman being a contestant than presenting SCD. Ido like him but I think he would be weigh over the top if he presented SCD.

Barrowman, the man who thinks it's hilarious to pull his schlong out, f@rt as a 'joke' and generally act like a 4 year old, and his hair is even less convincing than Bruce's? Gawd! And now Forsyth says he regards Vernon Kay as his 'heir apparent'! It just goes from bad to worse!

BBC think hard before you put a half wit as front man for SCD, this will put alot of people off.

Im sure there is a rising star out there just waiting for their turn....NOT JOHN BARROWMAN..pleaseeeeeeeee
