I've had Homechoice for nearly 3 years and still have my original silver box, over the last few days i've noticed sort of wavy lines in the background of the tv picture, kind of looks like interference so i've reconnected and checked everything and still makes no difference.

The lines don't make it unwatchable but now i've spotted them they are getting on my nerves, as I'm not getting them via any other input I'm assuming the box is on it's way out, has anyone had this before? if so is it the box? Or is it tiscali ****ing up a perfectly good service?

Hi, It sounds like it could be the SCART cable, I would recommend trying another one.

I've done that, actually replaced all the cabling to no effect which is why i think the box is on its way out.

To me it sounds like your box or the power supply has almost cooked itself. You might notice a hissing noise if you put your ear to the box. Your box will probably fail soon so I'd recommend calling out an engineer.
