How do I get the V12 firmware..??

My phone is suffering so many problems. I just factory formatted and reset to all defaults, which has temp fixed the problems, but I am desperate for V12.

I have downloaded the Nokia software updater, but it says my version (V11) is the latest!

How do I download and flash V12??

Thanks in advance guys !!

V12, surely you want V20. See here.

You will also need to change the phone's product code.

I also want ver 12 don't touch ver 20 it is full of problems it is a very very bad beta

The GPS receiver is now as deaf as anything, battery life is just the same, MAPS will not run and so on.

Ver 20 has turned a good phone into a bad one

I think you'll find you're in the minority there.

Isn't there 2 variations of Firmware anyway?

The N95-1 is now on version 20, but the N95-2 is on version 11 (I didn't realise Version 12 was out).

v21 is out for euro 1 plum product code.
Its the best firmware version yet most of the bugs ironed out and added flash support in the browser for things like youtube, also access to ngage when it goes live, windows live messenger available through download and nokia music store. gps is very sensitive.

My advice is change your product code and flash, debranding a handset, makes the handset like new.

V12 is pants used it for about a week and got rid of it quick !!

N95-2 now on firmware version 15.0.015 actually!

Am hoping for another one soon though, the battery life is still quite poor!

Absolutely. I have V20 on my N95 and have never had a problem.

that is correct 15.0.0.15 but not all networks have released it.

v15 on the 8gig is comparable to v20 on the n95-1

so there will be a new firmware for the n95-2 but don't expect a big change to battery life.

It'll be a shame if they can't do anything with it, I have had to strip it down the to the bare bones to get acceptable life out of it!! No 3G on, and a few of the other tweaks. Maybe Nokia will bring out a reliable 2000mah battery at some point?
