tmobile warranty repair
Hi
I've sent my mda touch 128mb away for repair as the screen was getting less and less responsive and was getting the infamous smudge as well as when touching it the screen warped. Do you think t-mobile will repair it under warranty ? Is it possible they will exchange it for a 256mb touch? anyone had any experience with t-mobiles repair dept? I'm not that bothered as it was only a back up phone really using an n95 as my primary phone, would still be nice to get it repaired under warranty though |

In most cases, T-Mobile will send a courier round with a replacement for you, (he takes the old one away with him) and that's the end of it. You do, however, need to be a contract customer. In a small number of cases (and in all cases if you are a PAYT customer) you have to take the phone into a T-Mobile shop and it's dealt with there.

Take it into a t-mobile shop, We will send it for repair. Sounds like it shouldnt be an issue with it being under warranty unless something else has happened to cause it. Like Liquid damage for example. If it is a warranty repair and cannot be fixed then it will be swapped for the same make and model.

It all depends on your customer value. If you are a high value customer they will offer a repair option, if you say no to this then they will exchange it for you for the exact same model if this is in stock/not discontinued.

thanks for the replys the reason I was asking about the mda touch 256mb is thats as far as I know t-mob have discontinued the 128mb version, the only difference between the models is the amount of ram.
I suppose they may repair the screen rather than give me a replacement handset. I should be a highly valued customer with 2 contracts myelf and my wife having 1 as well !!! |
