Hi all,

I have been given an 02 XDA Mini S.

Every time I now go onto the net it pops up with :

Your phone is currently low on free memory. Delete old or unused items to increase more space.

And then :

Storage memory critically low. If you do not increase storage memory you may not be able to store some programs. Use File Explorer to delete files you no longer need or move files to a storage card.

I have tried and tried to find the files and file explorer to delete or move from the phone to the storage card but to no avail and the pop up is getting anoying now. I would imagine there is loads on the memory that my friend had on but I cant locate it to delete it.

Apologies if this has been asked before but a search was not forthcoming.

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Rich.

I have an answer for you....

On most PDA's and XDA's you can alter the memory settings.

Tap settings, then memory, there you will see you memory status, my xda has 122MB, half is used for storage and the other half is for running programs. You can also see how many programs are running if you tap on the "running programs tab".

On that memory screen you have a slide control so you can alter the amount of storage space or program.

Hope this helps.

One question for the OP, is your XDA standardised? as in factory settings with no new programs installed.
