This Sunday, Corrie is on from 19:30-20:35 so it could be a good extended episode focusing on the Wedding.

I've also heard that these new 65 minute episodes on Sundays are here to stay for a few weeks at least.

We are getting the long Sundays episodes because they are not showing two episodes on Monday evenings for the time being.

And yeah, think the wedding is SUPPOSED to happen on Sunday

I really wanna see Peter marry Shelley and then go to prison for being a bigamist - the lying ******

I just can't stand Lucy either, she should just have stayed away, how can she believe Peter when he's told so many lies - aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhh!!! - Silly woman!!

*remember its just a soap, remember it's just a soap*

There's going to be a feature about the wedding on 'This Morning' on ITV tomorrow.

As expected, they didn't give anything away. The first part of the item was at the church location, but all they showed were general shots of the cast & crew hanging around waiting to start recording. They interviewed a few of the cast who gave away nothing.

After a commercial break they interviewed Susie Blake & Sally Lindsay (Bev & Shelly) in the studio for about 5minutes.

Bit of a disapointment realy.

Didn't Shelley and Bev say that they have filmed 2 endings and they don't know which one will be shown? Personally I don't believe that (ie it is just a publicity statement they are meant to say) cos the ongoing storylines are developed and filmed weeks ahead so surely they'd have to film 2 sets of storylines for weeks to come Doesn't make sense to me

We know there's a wedding since Tracyluv gets Roy with the stupod date-rape drug at the reception afterwards.

Anyway, as I've said elsewhere soap weddings are scenes of carnage and grief. I hope this goes accordingly

Yawn, Boring soap overkill. And all the producers wonder why they are runnign thier shows into the ground with their dragged-on stroylines. Can't they learn 3 half-hours a week is more than enough?

I'd guess its to confuse anyone who saw them filming it. not the actors themselves. Like, the people who live around the church it is filmed at

Seeing as we know for sure that Peter and Lucy aren't divorced, and can't be until March, I'm convinced that the wedding does go ahead because then Peter has committed bigamy and leaves the storyline nicely open for Shelley finding out., that not only did Peter lie (yet again) just before the wedding that the affair was over at Christmas but he went ahead and married her knowing full well he was already married, never mind having a son.

More heartache for Shelley to come.

Katie.

Which one would you rather bang your nail in then Turtle?

As for them filming different endings, as someone said they would have to film different repercusions, which they wouldn't do. There must be a wedding, because Roy is drugged by Tracy at the reception, so Lucy cant stop the wedding. I think they'll get married then it will come out that he has a son to Lucy.

How long must this painful story line dredge on? I mean, could any story be further from reality?

The Golden rule for any long storyline has been ignored...... There isn't a single believable hook in tghe story, nothing for us to latch on to.

Why the writers would force the Character of Peter into this ridiculous corner is a joke. They made large efforts to show that he's a good bloke, despite his antics when he first appeared, now they're throwing it all away.

Oh, I don't understand...

Exactly! And if you check the official Coronation Street website [note to self: get a life next week] it tells you how Bev has to manage the bar without Shelly and cannot and so gives Boyzone a job. From that (combined with the fact that Tracyluv drugs Roy at the RECEPTION) I think its fair to assume the wedding goes ahead in one form or another.

Plus, as M2A1G points out, this provides scope in future months for Loose to spill the beans about Peeta being baby Simon's dad.

At least after Sunday we'll have seen the last of this awful storyline for a few weeks
