crusty rolls

Has anyone ever made crusty rolls with yeast/flour (i'm guessing)

Can you make them at home like in the shops?

I would like to try.

I usually buy the half-baked ones from the supermarket, especially the petit pains, 10 minutes in the oven, let sit for a minute then add butter or pate, hmm delic'
