It's almost like Ireland are now cocking a snook at the competition.......

Realising that, much like the UK, since they introduced public voting they stand absolutely no chance of winning regardless of the quality of the song, they might as well submit a (erm) turkey of a song as a sort of protest..........

The only snag with that is, if it doesn't get past semi final night, then the point will be lost on millions of viewers come the main event..........

There has been outrage with it... Even booing during his second performance of the song.. Its years since we entered a decent song.. This isn't the answer either.

Eurovision is worth a watch for Wogan's commentary alone.

And please. It's Eurovision, you expect class tunes? If these people were writing and performing decent music they'd be doing something better than this.

I don't think we can do any worse this year lol. A bit of entertainment none the less, although Eurovision already has that

The eurovision is rubbish, it's all a complete joke, and this entry treats it as such so it probably deserves to win.

Dustin

This is the place to go if you want to see Dustin winning. I noticed on the clip there was a lot of booing so it looks as if it is not very popular in Ireland.

Lordi were good. One of the few skilled bands to actually enter Eurovision - wrote their own songs and played their own instruments. OK, so the masks and costumes were a bit silly, but they more than made up for it musically.

Clearly Ireland has finally seen Eurovision for what it is, a joke.

Im sure a song sung by a puppet is an improvement on the bland shite they have entered in recent years.

I'd vote for it.

I thought that was hysterical. Good on them I say.

Put it this way anything has to be better than that joke from 2006 - daz sampson's "teenage life" - some middle aged guy in a hoodie rapping about what it's like to be a teenager and loads of barely legal girls dancing around in school uniforms... Looked like something off the Jeremy Kyle show.

A reminder:

Maybe someone should convince Jeremy Kyle to be the next Eurovision entry - he could have a hit with "I'm pregnant again" (who's the daddy?) and get his guests to rap their problems and in response he could rap lines like, "no you're a pain in the bum, get off my show you scum."

What do you reckon?

Lmao it's too funny.

Where would Eurovision be without a joke entry? No doubt it'll get 12 points from the UK!
