Am I the only one that thinks Amanda is rubbish?

Individual? Oh yes, definitely. Good? Errr, nope, not for me at least. I don't know what the judges see in her, personally.

I know , I've completely gone off her after this week , don't see anything special in her.

She just sounded like she was shouting and groaning to me..

Though for some reason, I quite liked her

You're not alone, I was thinking of making a thread like this myself! Her voice is awful.

I know she's "different", but so was Sanjaya!

I did like her in auditions but was underwhelmed by her performance on the night - like Simon I thought she had forgotten her words and she seemed all over the place. Best thing for me was the guy with the red guitar who accompanied her- thought his playing was awesome!

No you are not. I have never liked her, and I usually like the 'rock-y' alternative ones. From audition stage I thought she was poor and was surprised she got through. I really don't like her skunk hair either.

That was my daughter's exact words on her performance too.

Did anyone else notice how Paula used the same words to descibe two of the 'rockers' - Amanda was one, can't remember who the other was. She said...'you are authentic, the real thing'

Is is only rockers who are authentic? Whilst it is my preferred genre of music I can appreciate that others are authentic too, or is it just more Paula speak

...and no, Amamda is not one of my favourites to answer the original question.

Not sure they even know how to spell it

Suspect they may be a tad mixed up about what's real and what isn't. I love the Amercians but they are amazingly innocent sometimes.

Amanda's having a laugh. She's amazingly 'yeah, whatever' which makes me suspect she's in it for exposure but has no real thought about getting beyond the first few stags and being noticed.

Work it girl. There may be a band out there who wants a rock chick front lady. She's good but she's not special.

Guitar man is bloody amazing. God can he play!

I thought she was really bad last night, I was disappointed she didn't go home

I've not liked her from the very start, just hope she goes soon!

I thought she should have gone in the first week of the final 24 when she was up against Joanne, and her hair looked awful this week!!

she looked like a big yeti!

You have got the rock chick in Carly who reminds me of Gina last year, you don't need 2 of them in the final 12

I thought she had lost her authenticity on her second performance - she looked like a made up doll rather than a genuine rocker. IMO she should have gone rather than Alaina or Alexandra!

I think everything about her is forced and contrived.
