The Bootleg Beatles
I went to their St. Albans gig last night and they were brilliant
![]() Has anyone else been? I know there was a Beatles thread somewhere but i couldnt find it

yes - I've seen them and they felt pretty 'authentic'.
really enjoyed it, as I was too young to have seen the real thing. |

Saw them years ago supporting Oasis at Loch Lomond and they were excellent.

Saw them a few years ago at an outdoor concert in Uxbridge and they were brilliant.

My thoughts:
The Bootleg Beatles (gig) - 5/5 Excellent stuff. Slightly different from last years gig (a few songs were different), but still great. All the classics were there (but sadly, no Yesterday or Ballad of John & Yoko) though yes, we all sang to Yellow Sumbarine, stamped to Get Back and sang/clapped to Hey Jude and Hello, Goodbye. The band had good banter and cracked jokes that were really pretty funny, like when "John" started busking to Oasis (Wonderwall) and we even finished the song for him, to which he responded "Bloody tribute bands" ![]() "Paul" did a superb job on Blackbird and the encore of Imagine was as moving as ever. |
