Just to wander up a side alley here.
When you made your conference call, was it like having two callers with one on hold and then swapping between them, or could all three parties join in the conversation simultaneously? |

Could this not have gone in one of the multitude of other iPhone threads?

From my experience with other phones (and tariffs) I used to think twice before using the mobile for the internet. With the iPhone i just go ahead without thinking about it. It's not just the tariff - the nice big screen and excellent browser makes the internet a far more usable proposition.

Also in my use of the iphone browser I found the tap zooming feature to be a little unreliable. Internet explorer on win mob devices is dire in comparison i will admit but opera 9.5 promise to improve that. As i've already said after browsing at hsdpa speeds I could never go back to gprs or edge, and thats the part where the browser stumbles on the iphone as excellent as it is whats the point when it takes an age to load a page, funny how all the 02 stores and cpw have the iphones on show connected to wi-fi, so they can make the browser look fast, ive had the misfortune of trying it on edge  Cut the cost, make it multi network and 3g and apple would have a cutting-edge web device as it stands its no better than anything else on the market. |

me again the annoying iphone basher
![]() Just out of interest how do the iphone users on here find the touch screen keyboard? I found using it was rather difficult but then I am large fingered!! Also feel I should say I'm no way a hater of the iphone, i've just found it hugely dissapointing after all the hype and the fact that are several phones on the market that can do everything the iphone does if not more, yet apple tel everyone its the only phone that can. Even the hardest iphone fan has to laugh at steve job's statement that its 3-4 years ahead of current mobile tech

I found using it was rather difficult but then I am large fingered!! Having used it for 6 months I much prefer to enter text via the iPhone than the more common predictive text on a numeric keypad, also more so than one of those mini full alpha slide out keyboards. |
