Hi Red Lady,

Well done you for setting up a well deserved thread for Seamus.

I too was disappointed when he went out of ADWD as he had a great voice and look although re-watching ADWD on the DVD, I do think that maybe the role of Joseph wouldn't have been right for him (I can see him more in the role of Jesus Christ Superstar or a role in We Will Rock You or some such musical) but am so pleased that the programme gave him fantastic exposure and its great that he has his own band and that he was allowed to be part of the Dream On experience.

I love hearing him singing the track Longer with Craig on the Craig and Friends CD. They sing fantastically together and it was great to see Seamus at the concert on the 17th singing that same song with Craig and also adding wholeheartedly to the concert.

I know the judges on ADWD were a little cross with Seamus at times for not behaving as a team player with the other Josephs but I guess because Seamus was so much older and more experienced with singing than the other boys, maybe at the time he found this part of the Joseph experience the toughest part for him. However, on seeing Seamus at the concert, this did not come across at all. At no time did he try to outdo Craig and the others and I thought he had such a lot of charisma and personality, he really stood out on the stage and commanded it.

As others have said on this thread too, Seamus came across as such a lovely person at the stage door as well, he was more than happy to sign CD's and stand for pictures for people. We managed to get a couple of pictures of him, they are not great, and I didn't get the chance to stand with him and have a photo taken with him. Unfortunately, too many Joes and not enough time!!! Hopefully, if the possible tour goes ahead and Seamus can spare the time to come along and sing with the boys too, I might get my chance as he is really rather lovely in the flesh. I'm not usually a big fan of men with curly hair but in his case, I could make an exception!!!

Thanks Red Lady and Stashy too for posting such fantastic photos of Seamus. You are both brilliant photographers and have captured him so well.

Red Lady, please keep us up to date with all Seamus news as would be great to hear what he is getting up to.

Take care,

Love Siouxsie xxx

Thanks Siouxsie Should point out that Johndeep sings Longer on the CD, Seamus does Sorrow. But you are right he came across as very much part of the team that night, and made a big contribution to the success of the night.

If he ever updates his myspace will copy it over here, but all he seems to have done is alter his age from 36 to 29 this week Might try that on my birthday

Hi Red Lady,

Oops, I meant to put Sorrow, don't know why I posted Longer. Guess its because too much going on at the moment and wasn't thinking straight.

Thanks for adding that you will copy over myspace if he ever updates it. Would be good to hear up to date news on him. Don't blame him for lying about his age. He's definitely 36 though isn't it because I remember them saying he was 35 on ADWD, still he can get away with it, doesn't look his age at all.

Take care,

Love Siouxsie xxx

Seamus seemed like a really nice guy when we met him after the Dream On Concert. I was there mostly for Craig and Chris, but all the boys seemed so genuine. Thought you might like to see this photo of my daughter with Seamus:

I know it's a bit late to mention it, but have just read Seamus and his band Mosquito played a St. Patrick's Day gig called Music Box Live at the Pigalle Club, Piccadilly. Did anyone here go? Would be nice to hear how it went

Congratulations to Seamus for his new role. Thanks for the dates Red Lady and for info from Tanith's site.

Not sure if any of the dates or locations will work for me, but might be able work something out as would be brilliant to see him in the show.
