Congratulations to Seamus for his new role. Thanks for the dates Red Lady and for info from Tanith's site.

Not sure if any of the dates or locations will work for me, but might be able work something out as would be brilliant to see him in the show.

Hi, just found this thread, which is very slow of me because Red Lady did mention it to me a little while ago.

Just want to say how lovely Seamus was at the Stage Door of the Palladium - got a lovely pic of him with mini rogue, but Mum won't let me post it!

Also, congratulations to Seamus on his new role. Looks like another trip to Liverpool Empire for me then!

Well done to Seamus on his Evita role. I can see him as Che and think he will make a great one. If it comes near me I will certainly go

At last he has a show of his own

Great news to hear that Seamus is going to be playing Che ...

If it comes anywhere near me, this kitten may well go along and see it.

Well done to Seamus for the role of Che in Evita. I think he will be super in that role. I see it's going to be in Edinburgh. I must book tickets.

Well done to him! He deserves it after the rough ride he got and he will be excellent as Che.

My friend is front row in Manchester, although I'm not a Seamus fan (at all, if I'm honest ), I would love to see it. Mainly for the show, itself, as I really want to start going to see more shows.

"....for I have been promised a show of my own !"

How prophetic after all

Seriously well done on getting the role of Che in Evita.
You are going to be fantastic

Lifted this from his myspace page - no wonder I like him ! I was LMAO !!

Who I'd like to meet:
Musicians and actors, female vicars and thieves; lovers and friends and other unwanted reprieves; thinkers and stinkers and the eccentrically posed; and others who think that Marmite is the "devil's bum treacle" supposed!

Sorry for my lack of knowledge (haven't seen Evita, other than a few snippets of the Madonna movie), but is the role of Che one of the main ones in the show? Would this be who Antonio Banderes (think it was him) played in the movie?

Hi Mehenny, couldn't get on last night. Haven't seen the film, but I think the answers to your questions are Yes and Yes

Melly, with all due respect, if you are not a Seamus fan, why are you on his thread?

Seamus was an absolute star at the palladium.

I still think his rendition of "start me up" was one of the highlights on ADWD.

I had already booked tickets for Evita before I knew he was going to be in it, so it's a bonus. Hopefully I can meet him to sign my programme.
