Sounds fantastic Rogue, I can't wait to see the show myself!!

Just wondering (a slightly trivial question), what does Seamus do with that wonderful hair of his for the role?
His hair is exactly the same with beret!

You must get tickets to see Evita, it was stunning!

I've had the most amazing night!!!!

Sarah, I have to disagree with you about not being able to listen to Seamus for a whole show, he was brilliant and very listenable to!

The set was superb and the cast were great! Watch out for James Waud, he went to the same Theatre School as Chris (a year behind) and plays Magaldi - his first professional part. Loved his voice, though the guitar miming wasn't entirely convincing! Saw him at the stage door afterward and he was lovely.

Seamus is 100% lovely, had to wait AGES at the stage door, but was chatting to another guy who had been to the same Drama school as Chris! Think his name was Tom Bennett. Seamus wanted to know whether we thought the show was OK - well, if you're reading this Seamus, you know we thought it was much, much better than OK!

Btw, he remembers you Scarlet!!!

Vegasvoss & Lesley, you are such a bad influence on me!!! Tom was pointing out all of the cast members and the musical director came out of the stage door at quite a speed, he's got a very impressive paragraph in the programme & I'd hoped to get his autograph so I yelled;
Oi you!!! Mr Musical Director guy!!!
He was really nice (David Steadman) and didn't seem at all phased!
The show was amazing and is a must go and see! Louisa Dearman who played Evita was brilliant! She showed all the emotions & had great stage presense. I'd also like to mention Nikki Mae who had a beautiful voice.

Not sure how he could, we only spoke for a few minutes, he must have me confused with someone else

Glad you had a great time Rogue You've made me look forward to it even more now

Does anyone know if there are any tour dates in addition to those posted on the official BK website. Many thanks for any info. Down South preferred - else could be another trip to Cardiff for a birthday weekend.

Went to see Seamus in Evita and all I can say is WOW, the part was written for him. I even heard someone outside saying they had seen David Essex in the role and that Seamus was better, now that is some compliment

Waited outside to see him, and god what a lovely person he is, not a bit like the editing in ADWD tried to make him out to be

Told him that on his eviction when he sang he would have a show of his own he was right and he now did, he beamed a huge smile and I got a massive hug from him, had my photo taken with him

I went to the above performance of Evita in Edinburgh with my family. I did not know what to expect as I had never seen Evita before. I was really going to see Seamus.
I was not dissapointed on either front.

We all really enjoyed the show. Although Louise Dearman who plays Eva does not have the strongest voice I found her very pleasent to listen to and when she sang Don't Cry For Me Argentina I was totally spell bound. She was beautiful and her voice was lovely.

Seamus was everything I had hoped for. I always liked his voice on ADWD and loved hearing him live. I could listen to him for hours. He plays the part of Che very well and I could hear every word he sang. He has great stage presence and I think i missed some of the action as I could not take my eyes off him.

All of us thought the show was great and would recommend it to anyone.

After the show the heavy rain had stopped, so we went round to the stage door to see Seamus. He seemed surprised but happy that we were waiting for him and was lovely to us. He happily chatted and posed for a photo with my daughter. What a lovely guy he is and I hope I can see him again soon.

Hi Rogue,

This is a beautiful review. It sounds as though you had a fantastic time and I am so pleased you got to meet people at the stage door.

I would love to see the show with Seamus but I don't think its coming anywhere near me so might have to miss out - worse luck. I thought Seamus was great at Dream On and appeared to be a really nice guy.

Hi LewisH,

Thank you for your beautiful review. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the show so much especially as you hadn't seen it before. The songs are great aren't they. I'm glad you got to meet Seamus and that he turned out to be everything you expected him to be. Hope you do get to see him again soon.

I can only draw a very vague comparison to what was probably the last UK tour (I was an usherette and saw the show every night during its run at the theatre I was working in!)

I thought it was great.
Seamus plays quite a cheeky Che I thought - he put quite a bit of humour in the part. His voice was very clear and diction spot on. (Hair was fab too - no need for a wig there!)
Louise Dearman was tiny! Fantastic stage prescence. The balcony scene was a s amazing as I hoped it would be.
Special mention form me for Mark Heenehan (Peron) - I thought he was great - it's hard to play such a weak character - but there was a real chemistry between the Perons.
Favourite set piece for me was "A New Argentina."
