Programs Set to Record Duplicating
Graham UK
25-02-2008
My DTR160 OS v2.7. Having set the same program to record Monday through to Friday, (not series linked). Checking the following day I find the odd repeat later in the day has been entered but not by me.

It's happened again. I recorded a program last night (no link used) and today found it had recorded the repeat program this following morning.

This is not un-common for the Vestel T825 PVRs with the 1.7 and 2.7 software.

Thank you for your replys, I can live with it but it's a matter to regularly check that programs have not been added by default.

Wonder if Vestel read this forum or does one need to inform them direct so they can add it to the next OS Update.

The problems have been reported to Vestel. Having said that problems with the previous T816 software versions have been reported to them but there has not been any OAD updates at all for the recent (since early 2007) Vestel PVRs. Vestel were very good in providing updates for their T810 model released originally I think in 2006 which converted an initial buggy unit to a very stable unit eventually.
