how much do you get paid to suck up to HC on here because thats all you ever do.

There are a 1000 people on here who would agree with me that since the take over the old HC service has become a complete shambles.
and then 7 months of billing for phone calls despite the fact my phone line should have been terminated in july and the new tennant in my old property making use of that fact and tiscali still billing me for it even though i had letters to prove i no longer lived there and that the service should have been terminated.
so Please define for me in your mighty wisdom, if thats not a shamble just what the hell is exactly.
oh sorrry forgot you probably getting paid by the word by tiscali not to say anything derogatory against them...
another £20 for Peter we please courtesy of Tiscali butt kissing department”

Spot on!!! I left Tiscali as they are completely useless. They have driven Homechoice in to the ground. I left and disputing payment with them. Here is the scenario:

I moved home on 2nd November and had it all organised so that BT moved my number straight over from one flat to another as I was changing floors in the block that I live in.
BT did their side of the bargin but Tiscali put a bar on the line. I couldn't phone them to sort it out, and it wasn't til I went down to a phone box to phone BT that I found out Tiscali had put the bar on the phone. I got my father to phone Tiscali for me (he pretended to be me) and he got the bar off the phone.
On the 6th November I phoned Tiscali, after a few days of hassle getting the line sorted, I spoke to CS who told me that they were going to get it all installed for me but I would have to wait 4 WEEKS. I wasn't happy with this as Homechoice installed it originally in half that. They also said they were terminating my contract as I was still classified as a 'Homechoice Customer' and not with Tiscali (even though the line tag was Tiscali). I wasn't happy with the time period given to me and even though agreed to the contract being terminated and a new contract started I knew I had a certain amount of time to cancel the contract. We had a Sky dish and line installed in the flat already when we moved in, so I phoned Sky. They gave me a good deal and it worked out £30 cheaper (even with paying BT line Rental).
I phoned up Tiscali and asked them to cancel my service, which they did, and they barred my line again!!! Sorted out the bar by insisting they took it off as I had arranged Sky to come around to install it THAT SUNDAY (3 weeks earlier than Tiscali could install their service on a line that already had the Tiscali broadband on it but Tiscali insisted it couldn't be done earlier!!!!

Anyway to cut a long story short..... I was already billed up to the 26th November but they tried to bill me up to 26th December which I questioned as I cancelled on the 6th November. They then changed the bill but then are trying to charge me to the 6th Dec, but I am not buying that and refuse to pay them because

a) I had no service
b) I got rid of the tag by making them remove the tag from the line
C) The Homechoice contract was terminated by them and they started a 'new' contract under Tiscali which I terminated!!!

I am in dispute because I terminated the new contract within their cancellation period and they cancelled the original service. Why should I pay for a service I never had and would never had received. Tiscali are useless and I am better off for leaving Tiscali!!

Hmm, really. Could you point them out to me because I don't see ten people complaining. Its the typical situation, "I have a problem therefore everybody has it'. In fact 99% of HC customers never post here, if not more, so it can be assumed they aren't having a problem.

lol well now ive read it all.. you dont see 10 people complaining.. forgive me if im wrong but have you bothered to actually count the number of posts on this forum regarding complaints with the service.. 6489 posts and counting. and somehow i get the feeling that they arent all "the sun shines out of tiscalis arse" like most of your posts are"

not even taking into account the fact that the forum was updated and all the old homechoice posts were removed. you really must live in cloud cookoo land. looking at all the services you have listed you really need to get out into the real world a little more.

I didn't ask you to pull a number of posts out of the air, but a list of UserID's. Provide proof, don't abuse me

edit:
Oh, I get it, you counted every post as this forum as a complaint about Tiscali, so you are just talking utter rubbish. Carry on.

lol you really know how to make my day with your fantasy world.
One of the main reasons people post on here is to air grieveances they have about the service not to buttkick HC or any other ISP listed on digital spy forums.

even if only 10% are posts complaining that adds up to over 600 with the current Tiscali threads, add to that the 100,000+ HC posts that were deleted and any 5 year old that can count to 10 can see that the number of comlaints would easily reach 1000.

my arguments are based on facts from the post content whats your less than 10 based on i wonder.

and as for abusing you, if you post ridiculous comments then expect to be flamed

I asked you for a list of users who have had problems, where is it? Number of posts are utterly meaningless especially when you pick the number out of thin air.

Provide some facts to backup your claim.

There isn't even ten people complaining about the Tiscali's services in this forum, as such they are irrelevant to the vast majority of customers who are, obviously, happy.

currently 188386 members on the forum, divide that by ther number of forums ( even though some are far more popular than others so lets work on an average here) so thats 31.
that equates to 6076 members per section.
take the percentage of complaints to be 10%. that equals 607 unhappy tiscali customers.
if you want me to find more than your quoted 10 i would be quite happy to put you in the right direction but i have no personal right to add usernames to the list of people with complaints. let them speak for themselves.

I think your poll post is a good idea but forget the guesswork based, weird maths.
