After seeing that burger, i might make my family one of my Famous artery burgers.

Ingredients:-

1 1/2 burger
A lot of fried onions
2 potatoes waffles
4 bacon slices
Cheese
A Big bun

Method (simple)

Fry Everything
Cut bun in half and make 2 cheese on toast
Assemble into a burger
Leave out salad (its just pointless)
Add sauce
Eat
Now swear you will never make it again, till the next time

I call it the artery burger, as you can feel your arteries hardening while looking at it

I wont be cooking anything fancy tonight. I wont be eating until about 8:30pm, so it will be something with oven chips. I have some chicken in a lemon and pepper coating in the freezer .... so probably that.

I'm having calf liver and cabbage cooked in stock, butter with onions and bacon laced through it. May have some mashed swede if I can be bothered.

Pig and lamb are good. Chicken livers are great on toast with an onion marmalade, but calf is divine. (But pricy)

If you soak your lamb or pig livers for half an hour in milk, it gives them a smoother flavour. I always have them still quite bloody too.

I saw someone on telly last night eating a gammon steak with a pineapple ring on the top, realised I've not had that for years, so bought some on the way home. I'll probably rub a little honey & mustard over the gammon and bake it.

I adore a good gammon steak. I dont have them often (they are quite pricey), but about once every couple of months. I like mine with a fried egg on top
