Strange pizza toppings!

Egg

You can either fry a couple of eggs, season very well chop roughly and place them on....or in a very or oven, crack an egg on top of the pizza and let in melt into the cheese for a flat quche effect.

I had egg, ham, cheese and spinach pizza - sound weird but it's luvvly.

Would you recomment anything unusual on a pizza besides the most common toppings?

It not that unusual - Pizza Express have served Pizza Fiorentina for years, which is egg and spinach.

I had pink squid and creme fraiche in France once - delicious.

Strangest one I've ever seen was in Las Vegas where a Swedish guy had a potato topped pizza with mozzarella and very little else.

I am about to make a chicken and haggis pizza, with red pepper, red onion and feta. Its not strange to me but I am sure others would not agree.

Its delicious.

I love a nice Duck and Hoi Sin Pizza, although don't think that's very unusual.

Did he do the 'cut up fried eggs'or the 'crack egg on top of pizza' method?

When I was about 14 I tried the infamous chocolate buttons pizza.

It was not too bad actually

i had bacon on a delivery pizza once. not unusual... until i mention that the bacon wasn't chopped up, it just just cooked rashers under the cheese

ASDA used to do an Apple Crumble Pizza and a Baked Bean & Sausage one, this was about 15 years ago though.

Both were a bit suspect.

In Rome a few years ago I had a pizza with large slices of aubergine on it. I suppose it's not that strange (as some of the above!) but was very delicious.

Heinz baked bean pizzas were delicious, I've not seen them for ages though.

Tesco used to do a pizza with a pear chutney on it, I bought one because it was reduced one week. Very nice it was to. I tend to just make my own though.

I saw the domino advert for steak pizza and had a little dry heave.

I hate pizza, and putting processed "steak" is not going to make it better.

i'll admit margarietta (sp) is crap, but its the toppings that make pizza awesome.
