MP3 player-assistance required

I got a 2GB Mp3 player from Tesco, one of those Technika models. I have recorded a couple of dozen albums onto it but have since discovered that some are not actually accessible. The player shows 600 songs but there are many more than that. The player shows 552mb of space left over so it's not full up. I thought maybe i had everything on one file so deleted an album and then put it back on after selecting "new folder" but it still shows only 600 tracks. I can navigate to the albums and press play but nothing happens. Also the album before the blank ones only shows five tracks so it seems it has stopped in the middle of an album. Any ideas anyone? tracks are WMA recorded at 64kbps.

Maybe thats why.
Shouldnt really be the problem, but try having them all as mp3s, see if that helps.

If you're using Windows Media Player to transfer the music make sure 'create folder hiarchy' isn't selected otherwise the MP3 player may not be able to see the tracks.
