my wife is making portobello mushrooms ( large field mushroom with mozzerella and parma ham inside) with spaghetti bolognese and warm small sub rolls with a three pepper salad, with parmesan shavings. yum!

I've already had my main meal for today, but it was Quorn garlic and herb fillets with oven chips that were grilled, and sautéed cabbage.

The cabbage is actually very nice and incredibly simple. Get a pointed cabbage, pull of the outer few leaves, and slice it lengthways so you're cutting off disc-shaped pieces about 1cm thick. These discs then fall apart, leaving you with sort of shredded cabbage. Heat up some olive oil, add the cabbage and stir for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper, and serve. Takes no more than five minutes in total and it's really nice.

Oh and I usually put a small amount of butter or bertolli in with the oil to give it flavour

End of the month again, clearing out the freezer lol

Ice cream and banana

We are also clearing our freezer for a housemove, so going to eat well over the next 3 weeks
