A really great and apt song for Sport Relief.

Just as a negative though, it does look like she has had her lips done - which I know she hasnt, but they look very plump”

She won't have had them done, she's always had quite full lips.

Yip she needs to be careful if she will last the year.

She's not going anywhere.

Couldn't care less what Chris Moyles AKA The Ego has to say to be honest.

Poor. She won't make it in America with that.

She has no plans to release it in America. "Bleeding Love" is making great progress over there just to let you know.

It's all sad, and everybody is crying, Oh no.
They've even got an old person in there, look they're crying because they're sad at being old. It must be terrible being so old and that, and not being young, pretty and cool, so we must have sympathy for old people.
How terrible for them, we must feel sympathy for their terrible affliction and make sure that we don't patronise them in any way whatsoever, because that would be bad to old people. It's not their fault that they can't be like us.

But no, it's okay now because they've just made it all happy and everybody is laughing and smiling.
I can see what they've done there. They've gone and done 'sad',...then the really clever and amazing thing they've done is that they've then gone to 'happy'. The world has been saved. Hurrah. She's amazing. It's really good of her to do that emotion thing again.
If everybody went from 'sad' to 'happy' then the world would be a better place, so I don't understand why everybody doesn't just do that, because that video shows how simple it is.

Nobody can say I'm wrong either, because it's for charity. So if you criticise it you're doing a bad thing and are a very bad person.

I notice most people are saying how great the video is. I can't comment on that as I haven't seen it, but the song's utter crap. Slow, boring lyrics and that wobbly voice thing a la Mariah in the 90's is soooo annoying. But, as alrightmate says, you can't criticise it because it's for charidee innit.

That popjustice review made me literally laugh out loud. Got it down to a tee! Nothing subtle about the video, despite its intentions. The narrative is worn, old and unecessary. LOVED the point about the key change saving peoples lives

Leona Lewis is to debut her new single during the semi-final of Dancing On Ice.

The singer will perform Sport Relief song 'Footprints In The Sand' on the ITV1 show on March 9, while Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean skate around her.

She will take to the ice again in the results show to sing 'Better In Time', the second track from the double A-side release.

I wonder how her collapsing knee movement will work on the ice?

I dont think it should be debut on Dancing on ice, it should be on a show where they can explain what the song and money it will raise is for. IMO it would be better on GMTV or This morning that way they could explain the charity etc, because Dacing on ice will not explain it all.

As for the song it has lovely lyrics but it is abit dull but hey it a charty song so hopefully it will do well as long as cowell and co dont get any money from it.

She won't be on the ice so she won't be breaking anything for while now , except maybe a couple more world records to add to her growing collection

Yeah but she'll be on some sort of platform, not just standing on actual ice.

LOL , I seriously hope you don't mean that as a dig. There's so many I don't even remember all of them but to name a few :

Fastest selling debut album in the UK
Fastest selling download in the UK
Fastest selling single by a British female artist
Biggest selling single 2007
Most downloaded song 2006
Most consecutive weeks at No.1 by a British female artist

Now you could find lots more if you head over to her appreciation thread

Chris Moyles is a horrendous slug, he has no taste, he didn't think Bleeding Love was a good song.

So satisfying to see go down like a lead baloon at the Brits.

I like FITS but could see where he was coming from in this instance but Bleeding Love was perfect for Leona so how can he say they are destroying her career with song choices? (He did say this during his show)

LOL he really said that? Is he not aware how well BL has done worldwide? Hardly destroying, more like creating a worldwide star.

If Gareth Gates skates round her it should be a timely reminder of how fickle Cowell's support is. Building a career on high profile tv show appearances alone only bodes well for quick success but without putting down foundations she has little chance of longevity. I think Cowell only wants to prove for his ego that he can break a star in America but I doubt he can keep up this level of costly promo when it comes to a second album. By then he'll have moved on to a new cash cow.
