Not food for babies, but food that you really should have outgrown, but still adore. For me, its heinz tinned ravioli, dairylea on toast (esp. together!), and angel delight.
I love a boiled egg mashed up in a cup with butter and salt. I used to have it as a child and every so often if I'm feeling poorly it makes me feel so homely.

I haven't had that for years - but I will be for breakfast tomorrow!
I also confess to absolutely loving a bowl of baby rice mixed with hot milk. There is something so delicious about it, and it's a zillion times nicer than porridge, ready brek etc.
(and I'm 51 yrs old)
Angel delight or instant whip is a regular sunday pud in our house. We all love the butterscotch and strawberry, so I usually make enough of the two to feed the 8 of us who eat sunday lunch together.

My family all love butterscotch angel delight - I prefer the strawberry one. Occasionally I look after my niece who's 11 months and if she has Heinz apricot or the cow and gate rice pud i admit I'll have a spoonful too!

Same here. Reminds me of when I was at school. I would come home in the winter cold and hungry. Mum would have the fire going and make me a boiled egg in a cup - had to be a cup, a bowl just wouldn't do - with butter and the crust of the bread cut into soldiers. I used to do it for my sons too.
