Im on orange and like a lot of people my contract later this year will be ending on orange is it worth getting the n96 or will there be a phone better than this as its took well over 18 months (when n96 is out) the n96 just seems like a small upgraded version of the n95.

I was hoping for at least a 7 mp camera.

Also does anyone know when 3.5 g comes to the stoke on trent area ?? its already out on voda but not orange???

This is daft, people were asking the other day if it was worth getting the N95 with the N96 comming.

now you're asking will it be worth getting the N96 when another one will come out after that.....

the nature of buying technology is that something better is round the corner, you could wait for ever.

And 7mp?????? What are you doing with the pictures??? it's not about the mega pixels. 5 is plenty, it's the quality of the sensor and optics.

Don't count on any NSeries phone being released under Orange...spoke to them and they are not doing them at all.

I was at an Orange Management event where Nokia presented to us the N96. The aim of Nokia/Orange is to have it in store in July.

Thanks Ricardo...just that the dude on Upgrades told me you weren't doing NSeries anymore because "it's costing Orange millions as people are having lots of problems and they are being sent back to us, it's better for us to not have them"...!

Is it possible to get an N95 8GB? I don't really want a TYTN II.
Or, do you know how much it'd cost for an upgrade to the N96 in July?

Cheers,
Jon

We won't be doing the 8GB Model N95, though we will be doing the N95-1 with an 8GB card. Far too early to know N96 prices.

I barely get a standard Orange 3g signal in Stoke area!!!

Some areas (heavily populated) I dont even get a signal!!
Porthill / Wolstanton.

I dont know of anybody who has troubles with o2 cover in Stoke area!!!

Voda should be the best, they practically employ the whole of Stoke haha

From what I understand it won't. The DVB-H TV broadcast receiver will not pick up UK digital terrestrial signals. Details here.

He's right you know. only way to receive dvb-h in the uk is to live in oxford a couple of years ago. which is tricky to do.

Think it's the mobile operators that will probably be broadcasting soon.
