She fot off competition from Charlotte Church, and her other former hearsay bandmates!

Well done to Suzanne!

She also had a go a people who are snobbish about single parenting.

Agreed - she seems to be one of the few celebs who hasn't thrust her offspring into the limelight - it's nice that she's acknowledged instead of the usual Kerry Katona types

Well done Suzanne!

sorry but I cant be happy for her

Anyone who breeds with (he who must not be named) must have a screw loose

I suppose it will come in handy for extra votes this week

If she had not been appearing in DOI there is no way would she have won!

I will be honest, i dont know why she got it

If i am honest if she hadn't been on dancing on ice this year i doubt she would have got it.

Although i cant think of any mums at the moment who could have got it

I'd rather it went to her than kerry katona, who has won it previously, despite possibly being one of the worst celebrity mothers!

Couldn't that be said about any of the previous winners though?

Maybe just maybe, this time, someone won the title for likeability rather than just being in the news a lot of the time or adverts or shows.

May I ask how you know her?

As a friend? A relative? Through work? As a fan?

Aren't they awful? Just as awful as celebs parading their children around like trophies in the place of small dogs.

Exactly. Surely anyone who gets knocked up by The Day is automatically disqualified from 'Mother of the Year'?

WOW! must be great never to have been taken in by a guy before.
I'm quite sure she doesn't for one minute regret having her son.

Exactly- great post Scots rool. And just because the father isn't that great, doesn't make you any less of a mother. This forum seems to be getting more and more personal in it's insults (not just directed at Suzanne) and it's not very nice to read.
Have your favourites by all means, but quite why that means you have to dig away at all the other contestants I'll never know.

The reason I asked is because you said she was a fabulous mother and I wanted to know how you knew.

It is my business because you posted that statement on a public messageboard.

I agree. And her son is so cute

I think she would be a brilliant mum to her son, just because she is famous doesn't mean she would get people in to look after her son all the time, Suzanne is just like a normal mum, by that I mean she loves her son, and will spend time with him etc.

Katie price won it last year so she is ALWAYS in the press.

Kerry katona won it when she was still with brian mcfadden.

Personally i think emma bunton would have been a nice winner.
