V.20 N95 software now available for o2 phones

Just tried the s/w updater and lo and behold V20 is now available to o2 N95s. Only took 5 months!!

Wonder when its gonna be availible for T-Mobile...?

It's been available to ALL for months. All you need to is change the product code of the handset.

Yeah I mean WITHOUT having to change the product code.

Ah in that case that would be an indivuals choice NOT to upgrade to V20 then.

Doesn't changing the product code & flashing with the unbranded firmware void your warranty and/or phone insurance though?

It does. But you can always change a product code back.

Friend of mine had his repair request rejected as the air-time provider knew he had flashed it, as it was running a version of the s/w that they had not released... I am sure he was just unlucky.

Can I please ask a quick question, I have changed the product code on my Orange branded N95 but whilst updating the firmware with NSU my phone has frozen. It has NOKIA on the screen with the battery in or out, I've done the hard reset and nothing. Have I b*ggered it up completely

Any suggestions please, thanks
