From what I can gather, people will continue to get un-metered evening calls if you sign a rolling 12-month contact but how do you know if you have signed a 12-month contract or not? I recently moved and they mentioend a 12month contract to me which i agreed to, saying that I had no intention of tranferring but my online account makes no mention that I have signed a 12 month rolling contract.

Does anyone know how you find out if you are on a 12 month rolling contract?

You should get a confirmation letter.

You 'signed up to' a 12 month contract for line rental when you moved (that's standard, you can't get shorter).

That has nothing to do with the calls package you're on. You're probably on BT Together Option 1 (the Unlimited Weekend Plan). Check your account online to be certain.

If you want to upgrade to BT Together Option 2 (the Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan), you can get the £3.45/month (£2.70/month from 1-4-08) charge waived if you agree to the 'rolling contract' you've mentioned.

You can upgrade online too - see HERE.

Hi!

Yes I am indeed on Option 1. I currently pay BT £2.50 per month for the telephone calls I make so i shall probably wait until I get to 1 April before changing.

BT seem to go out of their way to make things as complicated for you as possible don't they.
