Dont keep mixing the rice, it releases the sticky starch and makes it more sticky.

I add some vegetable oil to the rice whilst it boiling as it helps stop it clumping together.

Splash of Olive oil, vegetable or chicken stock and a chopped garlic clove. Boil. Once its cooked (and drained if you used to much water) I crack an egg into it and stir, the egg cooks instantly with the heat of the rice. Delicious.

I got a ceramic hob so it keeps the heat it a bit easier.. But i take any pan... Put the rice in it... what ever amount i need.. And then pour cold water on it to about 1 inch above the rice level.
Bring to the boil... switch it off... and leave it to stand with lid on. I don't take lid of for about 10 minutes. Then i fork it loose with a fork (surprisingly)... Lid goes back on for five minutes more... till serving i suppose.
I use Basmati rice. And it doesnt stick at all... leave it too long without forking it it will get lumpy then.

Good luck
