Cats......they seem to love milk. Granted, in the wild they would drink water, but you can't deny that when given the chance to drink milk they will. Try spilling some and see.

I wouldn't touch soya with a 10 foot electrified cattle prod....it's gender bending properties are frightening. Ok for menopausal women and transsexuals but devastating for babies, prepubescent boys and girls alike.

Sure they like it, but that doesn't mean they should have it, or even could have it if you didn't give it to them, as cats are lactose intolerant and can't digest it properly.

Goodness.
I have just done a bit of research about soya. Glad I don't use it.

Have you done a similar amount of research on cow's milk?

I hope you like drinking pus and growth hormones.

Just Google Soy disadvantages.
Lots of medical plus the huge environmental damage caused by the industrial scale of cultivation and associated pesticides etc.

A lot of South American rainforest/jungle has been devasted and cleared to make way for the cash crop that is.. Soy*. It is harvested and shipped to the West including Europe of course.. a lot of it to become food for cows and their various intents and purposes

*some of the locals call this space the 'Green Desert' because the land space is effectively useless and barren for them

You will have had soy in some form without knowing it (soy milk is used in bread for instance, or for the 'chicken' bits in Pot Noodles).

That article, however, is a f*cking disgrace and the guy has an obvious homophobic agenda.

Quote:
“Homosexuals often argue that their homosexuality is inborn because "I can't remember a time when I wasn't homosexual." No, homosexuality is always deviant.”

Soy makes kids gay?

I wonder what made him a tw*t.

If you don't like that site, there are plenty more:

http://www.soyonlineservice.co.nz/
http://thyroid.about.com/cs/soyinfo/a/soy.htm
http://www.frot.co.nz/dietnet/basics/soy.htm
http://creativehealth.farvista.net/p...shtml#articles

and on and on. There are far more studies that have shown that soya is harmful than have shown it is beneficial.

Why don't you try googling milk disadvantages?

As far as calling it soy "milk", I would have thought artifically inseminating cows and then removing their calves so we can drink the milk naturally intended for them instead, and then killing the male calves because they are useless to the industry is much more "disrespectful to mammals".

That does annoy me how, as a nation we love milk but are silly about veal, which should be a cheap meat, as it is a diary by product. I love veal and would love to see it a much more popular meat in the UK - not the white meat but certainly the rose meat.

Couldn't agree more. I live next door to a dairy farm. Cannot bear to see the calves being born in the field only to be hauled away and killed later in the day. Many people don't even realise this happens.
