Sirloin steak with potato wedges, grilled tomato and mushrooms.
Yesterday I made a rub for the steaks. In a spice grinder I put some dried porcini mushrooms and some fresh thyme then whizzed it to a powder. This I put on both sides of the steaks and refridgerated overnight. This is a trick I found in a book by Mario Batali and it imparts a wonderful flavour. It seems to tenderise the meat as well. |

After cooking all week I'm looking forward to a delivery of pizza, garlic bread, tater wedges, chicken dippers and dips meal from my local Pizza Hut.
Completely unhealthy and it'll rid me of around £17 - but it's damn tasty, and I usually have half the pizza left for tomorrow. |

Fish - of some description - as it's Friday.
Quite what or how though is another question. |

Daughter has expressed a desire for Chinese takeaway, so I'm hoping dad gives in and saves me cooking!

My local Co-op had half price pork chops because their sell-by was today. Grilled probably with new potatoes.

Chinese takeaway - crispy beef with rice and chicken curry with chips. (Me & OH always share because we can never decide what to get)
