I was going to reply but I just can't be bothered to get into this discussion again. No point fighting the good ol' British attitude .

I'm pretty quick to the off button whenever the David Jordan record comes on, it's really growing inwards like a sharp metal spike on me

And that Flo-Ri-Da thing from America, my god they have very little taste in music if that crap can be no 1 for 10 weeks. If it isn't the biggest rip off of Nelly ever then I don't know what is

The latest Nickelback song. Not sure if it's popular yet as such, but it's been played to death for the last few weeks.

Also - Wow by Kylie.

Its nothing to do with attitude I was just asking if what you do ( eg the moaning ) is the same as what you are accusing of others doing.

But hey seen as you cant be bothered to reply I'll just take it that you are just lazy like them you are accusing.

And you know Im right about people not being able to controll what is played in the pubs, clubs, at work and in the shops.

Wow, clever response, you've really shown me up there . If you think I moan like others on here you really haven't got a clue and need to look more closely at my 1800 posts (most of which have been in this forum). I gave my opinion but can't be bothered to get into the argument again as I've had this discussion on here with other people before you were even a member.

Oh, and it's got everything to do with attitude. Britain's reputation as a nation of moaners isn't for nothing .

Yep, it must be! Someone at the Assembly has probably decided that Wales is becoming overpopulated so by ensuring that "America" is played all the time, it will have a subliminal message kind of effect and people will move to the States in their thousands!

Ok... maybe not! However, it's hysterical that three of us have all noticed this trend with Razorlight. I walked into my local branch of Woolworths earlier today and guess what was playing? AMERICA by Razorlight!!! YAY!!!!

As I said before, get the lead singer to change the lyrics to "Nothing on the TV, nothing on Welsh radio, except this song by me."

I was dividing my time equally between Bristol and Cardiff last year and I don't think I heard Razorlight's "America" once when I was in Bristol.

It's a conspiracy I tell ya!

Valerie was good, but OVERPLAYED TO THE MAX.
Rockstar was also quite good, this has also been overplayed
So has Hey There Delilah, Capital play that non stop.
Bleeding Love isn't played so much now, but i never get sick of it

Also, i hate when they play songs from the last 3/4 years, for some reason it annoys me cos they're recent but they're not...if you get me..

The one from Kate Nash going on about 'fingertips holding on to cracks in foundation' or something.

I would rather listen to Hannah Montana.

I'd definitely agree with Razorlight - America - I hate that song with a passion and can't stand the band. Johnny Borrell is one asshole.

Bleeding Love - most boring production. Just drones on.

Valerie - by the Zutons. I couldn't stand this but don't mind the Amy version but do think it's played too much.

That WOW song by Kylie. I don't mind some of the song but can't stand that bloody wow-wow-wow at the end. I want to put my foot through the stereo when I hear it!

Anything by James Blunt.

Anything by the Feeling. In fact I hate most of these production line indie bands jumping on a bandwagon and all sound the same. It will be the death of indie music much like it was in the Britpop era.

Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs - always have to turn it off. I used to like their first album but can't stomach them now.

That Gwen Stefani song that she wails in.
extrovertism.

Well whatever you do - if you happen to pass through wales, DON'T put the local radio on because you'll hear "america" by razorlight. Guaranteed! As for that Borrell bloke - he comes across as being an arrogant swine in interviews. The same sort of arrogance of the Brothers Gallagher ensured I was prejudiced against every release by them!

I can't see what's so special about Razorlight - the lyrics are hardly that inspiring, vocally he's alright ( a bit whiny) and the songs are not that uplifting.

Yeah, what happened with the Kaiser Chiefs? I have the exact same feeling - I loved their first album and had bought it as soon as I heard "Oh my God" - it was such a different album and reminded me of some of the new wave bands from the 70s that I like. Kind of sham 69 "hurry up harry" for the 2000s I thought.

However - that "Ruby" was a poor showing and I didn't rate the follow ups either. I didn't invest in their second album. Back to "Hurry up harry" and "angels with dirty faces" for me

Another song I've had following me around for the last couple of days that is doing my head in is that Girls Aloud - can't speak french. Well, neither can I but who gives a monkeys??
