Oh I thought it was my box.

It stopped working for me last night. I was not happy

Its odd actually. It comes on and the OK to continue appears with the programme playing in the background.

When I click on OK it shuts down.

Is this the same problem everyone has?

That's exactly the problem I have Polly - I'm in Kilburn, North London. Where're you?

I've been hoping that they'd update the box software for ages to make it faster / less buggy. Maybe that's what they tried overnight, but it's broken?!

Exactly the same happening to mine, except when I press OK, I get a message saying 'A fault has occured. It is not possible to continue with your selection. Your set top box will now switch off'.

Ours doesn't come on at all. Goes straight to the fault page. No use phoning - we tried and gave up whilst being on hold!

Ok, I just spoke to Tiscali and they have fixed it by adding a new contact to the account. Which is bizarre but hey it worked. I'm guessing this is just a work around........?

Just got off the phone to Tiscali and they couldn't figure out what the problem is. The pleasant chap has raised it to the second level. So no TTV for me this weekend!

Miraculously, mine just started working again... Getting fed up with all these faults. The technology's hardly new - you'd think they'd have it cracked by now!!

On this note, our Tiscali seems to freeze on whatever channel we're watching every day between 3pm and 5pm. At that time we can get no program guide and the signals from the remote get ignored even though the channel it's on plays without being disrupted. Resetting the box results in losing the ADSL signal completely, but suddenly at between 5pm and 6pm it all starts working again.

Are we alone in this, or are others getting it?

Yes, mine is back up and running now. Was getting worried for a moment there as the Tech Support guy I spoke to said it could take up to 5 days to fix!

Its a bit stoopid posting every time theres a glitch on your box .. and posting without putting in the date ? my service has dropped every so often .. so what, its only TV? get a life, Dude! Smell the grass. It comes back on later.. what are you missing.?. some TV.. hey people are dying......read a book or a newspaper..go out in the Fresh air, speak to your Kids, cook a meal using Healthy ingredients! Lose the Belly Fat.

It sounds like you are getting some sort of local interference, maybe thats the time one of your neighbours uses the microwave.
