Hi,

I spent a bit of time trying to find out how to use this feature and then saw the following video which shows that you don't have to do anything clever -

Mine doesn't do that. I have the newer firmware so the new icon shows indicating that it's a series but I don't get the pop up window.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Peter

Are you sure that you've set the recording start and end times to 'on time', i.e. no auto-padding? Series link won't work otherwise.

Ah - no I have not done that.

I didn't see that in the new manual - mind you, I couldn't find anything in there other than a description of the new icon. Maybe I didn't find the right section?

Why can't you use auto padding with a series link? I can't see any logic in it?

What if I create the series link and then turn on the padding again?

Thanks for solving it - I'll try that out tonight.

Peter.

It's in section 7.7 on page 49:

Note: Auto tracking, split and series reservation in the programme guide are enabled only when Recording’s Start/End Time is set to On Time.

Neither can I.

I don't know.

You'll turn off SL/AT.

What if I create the series link and then turn on the padding again?
