Hi - I want to buy some av senders to transmit the signal from a digihome pvr to a small tv in another room which has no aerial socket.

I've been looking at these mini video senders - AVO Mini Wireless AV Sender

and the Philex SLx Gold Mini AV Sender which is lower down the page.

I like that they are very small and look like they will hide away nicely/not take up too much space.

But are these models any good? Has anybody tried them? What do you think?

They are certainly a lot more compact than our AV Sender from www.gizoo.co.uk but a bit more pricey. They all probably come from China.

Watch out for the 2.4GHz senders if you have wireless broadband - It can conflict

Has anyone tried the 'Philex SLx Gold Mini AV Sender'. I love the idea of them but I'm just not sure they'll work too well sitting in the back of my V+ box in a tv stand we a TV on top. Will this work okay as I have had a wireless sender before which needed positioning both ends to get the picture good. From the experience of these I had the sender sitting right behind the TV and it didn't work too well.

Can anyone let me know what they have found with these because if they work they'd be perfect.

try and get one with 4 channels so you can choose another channel if you get interference or no picture
