Was anyone worried about Suzanne tonight?

Everytime she did a move that might have worsened her injury, had it gone wrong which it didn't thankfully, I was almost on edge. That said I thought she was brilliant tonight, the pain she would have been in is awful. I chipped my knee once and I could hardly walk it was so swollen. Good on you Suzanne for having the courage to continue when so many would have bowed out.

And then I was worried when she was in the final three even though it was in no particular order. I thought she would go through but I was still really nervous that the judges wouldn't put her through against Zaraah because of the injury.

I think I was a nervous viewer tonight in general.

I cringed when she did the flip over thinking about when she was landing. ouch.

I am pleased she didn't have to dance in the skate offs and maybe do further damage, Hopefully she will have a few days rest and come out and stun us all next week. She is my second favorite just behind Gareth

She is one gutsy lady and I admire her for her grit and determination. A good role model for the younger generation

The landing of the flip made me wince a little. The pain sends shock-waves up the rest of her leg so her acting skills were excellent to act as if it was just an ordinary routine.

I missed her performance, sadly, but I saw the snip of it at the end and she must had a bottle of painkillers to get through it if she's actually chipped a bone. It amazes me how they can go on after the injuries they have. I once knew a guy who had two weeks off work for hitting his head on something and drawing blood, though I suppose he wasn't actually that badly hurt, it was just that it broke the skin. I remember once standing up underneath and open cupboard door an catching my head on the corner of the door. Ouch, I saw stars! I still went to work the next day though.

I can see how some people are cynical about the injuries, but I'm amazed there aren't more injuries to be honest.

Wouldn't say I was worried but I did wonder whether it would be her and Zaraah in the skate off. Zaraah is better sometimes (like tonight and the first night Zaraah skated) but I doubt the judges would have dumped Suzanne

Too brave. I wouldn't have been out there - I slipped on some steps once and sprained the ankle badly - a week off, moved my office to the ground floor and walked around on a crutch for two weeks. You look at tennis matches and people are usually out for 2 months with a sprain and some never recover from torn this and chipped thats. There's also the problem that if you favour and protect the ankle you tend to put something else out like, excruciatingly, your knee.

Don't forget these are 'Celebrities' and if they were going to end up with a disability or it was too painful they wouldn't be allowed to go on, look at Michael Underwood

I broke my toes early one morning and I still went to work, I cried my eyes out all the way down to the bus stop and when I got off the bus it took me twice the time to get to work!!! I didn't take any time off work although I did wear my comfy slippers at work. Am I brave? NO! I'm earning a living

I actually don't think her injury could have been that bad, there is NO WAY she would have been able to skate at all so soon after doing it, whatever painkillers/strapping she had.

Must of still of been hurting her, I think she is a very strong, confident women that wont let anything stand in her way, which is fine, means she has guts and is a strong person, her performances wasn't as good as last weeks though, hopefully next week she will be brilliant again.

I don't know why Suzanne is gettinga rough deal from some people on here, bless her, she isn't a bad person. But she is confident and a strong female, so maybe that's why

Yes I was. I was really hoping she would get through her routine without any more damage.

Everyone has different tolerance to pain. Good on her..........a lot of people wouldn't have considered going through with it.

I was worried for her - if she had a bad ankle it must have really hurt when she landed from that flip

My mum even said - I bet she felt that!

I thought she did brilliantly under the circumstances and you need to remember that along with the strapping she had an ice skating boot does offer considerable support to the foot and ankle.

She also skated only hours after cracking a rib and another time with a gash in her head from Matt's blade. She's been incredibly brave and with each week I'm growing to want her to win more and more.

She has been through the wars this year!
Cracked ankle, broken rib, bang to the head, what other injuries has she had.

Very true.

If there was any risk of long-term damage then no way would the docs have allowed her to continue.

It's all hyped up for the TV show.

Were you watching the same show? Even the first week, which was Zaraah's best week and which she has not come close to since, was nowhere near as good as Suzanne at mediocre. Zaraah's routine this week was the most dull, predictable and unadventurous. Even Greg was better. What were the judges thinking?

Sorry - I wasn't at all concerned for her as I very much doubt whether her injury was that serious at all. I find her more and more fake with each passing week I'm afraid. There's just something in her eyes that screams desperation and rabid determination, and I find it utterly dislikeable.

Sorry!

None of those can possibly be quite as traumatic as sh@gg!ng Darren Day.

Sorry!”

If you interpret desperation as wanting to win because she is clearly the best. Chris may be able to pull of the spectacle but he has the dancing ability and elegance of a buffalo. His smugness is hardly endearing and his manic partner distinctly off-putting.

What is wrong with determination, rabid or otherwise? Why is it that that is interepreted as dislikeable in this country? No wonder our sportspeople win so little. They're too scared of committing the mortal sin of determination.

Yet again Chris is labled wrongly as smug and you question why people are slating Suzanne. Basically you are saying it is ok for you to say things about Chris but people are not about Suzanne?

Wongly as smug? You know him, do you?

Besides, my more relevant point is that he has all the grace of a silverback.

Clearly it wasn't as bad as Michael's injury, but the swelling was there for all to see.

I really hope she wins this - seems to me those who call her desperate etc. base their dislike on her determination and some see her as a threat to their own favourite.
