Love chocolate...love the idea of chocolate/cocoa flavoured biscuits....not really found a brand perfect for me...until yesterday...

Saw the Oreo cookies ad on TV, bought some in Sainsbury's....by bed time - I'd ATE THE WHOLE PACKET!!!

Devilish things. They were smaller than I expected. But I loved the taste - the creme is very subtle, the chocolate biscuit has a dark, coco-y taste, rather than plastic chocolate. Sweet but not too sweet.

So - what's your favourite chocolate biscuit of any brand or description???

Oreos are the best biscuit, or cookie as the Americans call them, ever. Best eaten with a glass of milk. I love Arnott's Mint Slice and Chocolate Royals, neither of which you can get here.

There are some very nice fake type oreo cookies in Aldi. I've found the proper one's in Selfridges but they were about £6 - I really can't justify that for a pack of biscuits.

The Swiss chocolate ones you get in Tescos and Lidl that cost 99p - they have praline and a thin layer meringue and covered in thick milk chocolate and a white chocolate symbol such as a cross or flower.

I scoff the whole packet in one sitting - it is soooooo scrummy

I used to like the Foxes white choc cream biscuit with lines of milk chocolate zigzaging on it - you can only get them in assortments now.

You can buy Oreos in bulk at Coscto for about £4. I can't remember how many are in the box, but there is a lot! It's well worth £4.

In Australia last month they were doing Oreo McFlurry's at McD's. Perfect for cooling down after a hot day at the beach...

it may say it's a wafer biscuit... but imo, a wafer can't be a biscuit.

but hey, i'm not going to get into a debate about it...

Choco Leibniz really take the biscuit!

Like a rich tea biscuit with about 2mm of lovely chocolate on top - the killer feature is that the chocolate bit is bigger than the biscuit bit, so you can nibble the sides off....

I've tried the milk chocolate and orange versions - I think there's a dark choc version as well.

Got mine in Waitrose, but I imagine the other supermarkets have them as well - come in a rectangular cardboard box.

Mmmmmmm

Tim tams are great if you bite the ends off and use them like a straw to drink your tea, then eat the tim tams...yummy, also works with kit kats, and as for Oreo cookies and milk...i think i may actually be drooling on my laptop!!!

- Almost anything by Fox's. Their Classic bars are simply awesome and I love the Chocolate Vienesse.

- I'm with Rhino Horn, McVities Caramel Digestives with a cup of Milky Coffee is a winter favoutire for me.

- Anything From Border biscuits especially Milk Coconut Chocolate Crumbles. Wish I could still get them round here

- Jaffa Cakes (let's Not argue)

Oreos are nasty by the way

But, I insist!

You'll never look at a McVities Jaffa cake again, once you've tried Lidl's own brand Jaffa.....

The TCW (Tunnocks Caramel Wafer) is hard to beat.
Prefer the Dark Chocolate ones.
The Bahlsen Choco Liebniz Dark are awesome too.
