Nothing weird about banana sandwiches.

Unless you cover the bananas in HP brown sauce like my brother used to.....

Cheese and jam is amazing together! Seriously, if you've not tried it, you have to.

Ah, I love that myself. Only discovered it one day by force as I had run out of worcestershire sauce, but cheese on toast or in a sandwich with brown sauce is now the preferred choice.

My father quite likes having his salted crisps and banana sandwich on a Sunday evening!

its been a while since i did the honey combinations...i had a thing when i was a kid about trying weird combinations between bread!

as for the chocolate and cheese-don't knock it till youve tried it! i had a flat mate last year who said cheese went with everything so we tested him one night. we bought a brick sized block of cheese and made him eat with everything from bacon supernoodles to custard...and he ate the lot! surprised he didn't have a heart attack with that much cheese!

I love it when a buffet spread has cheese and pineapple cubes on a stick, something I wouldn't have thought goes together well that actually does.

However, I've never tried cheese and pineapple in a sandwich and I'm not sure I ever will either!

Just elaborating on the OP's theme, has anyone made a really sickly sounding but great tasting toasted sandwich? Often wondered what a toasted Heinz Sandwich Spread sandwich would look and smell like!!!

just crisps (cheese and onion) on bread with margarine...used to eat this a lot as a student, quick and easy to make!!

There is a guy at work that eats cheese and jam...and I thought he was the only one...looks like he isnt.
