I was recording Hollyoaks tonight at 7pm. I saw something about banks whilst i was sitting on channel 4 and pressed the record button. Couldn't see anything happening and as i didn't have anything else recording at the time, i pressed record again. Still nothing so pressed again. Nothing happened so i left it. Later i went in to play Hollyoaks and Corry which was set on series link for 19.30 and found that Holly did record but yellow box with green circles beside it Corry didn't record. But there were about 3 small recordings of channel 4 news with yellow boxes with green circles in them. When i tried to play them there was nothing there.

Also i noticed that in the last few days the remote is lagging. I have tried fast forwarding something and it just doesn't work then i try backwards and it does. And lots of other things going funny with remote.

I also noticed when i looked in my recording schedule that there are two programes from the the 8th and 27th of February sitting there - both with series link. They shouldn't be there should they as one of them is definately on each day..............ah just dawned on me that one was for neighbours and of course if was series linked on bbc1. However the other one is from the 27th so maybe stays there until the next week's prog comes on. I'm going to delete the neighbours one....maybe it causing me grief.

Wow everything was going well until last week, what the heck's happening.

Have you tried switching it off and on again? Failing that, reset to defaults. Otherwise it sounds like the box may have a more serious problem (memory, hard disk, or other hardware fault maybe?). If a restart/reset doesn't fix it I'd phone Humax.
