Honestly, listening to Kirsty for the second time tonight. I agree with Randy she has a lot of potential. Country, country here she comes!

As for Danny I must be one of the few who will miss him. He is fun with attitude. Of course-its open to interpretation.

Am so happy about my Syesha. I hope she makes into the top 10. For me, she is one of this years lot who I can see becoming a star. I have been correct about everybody so far including Jennifer Hudson.

I love the way they've always been so considerate to those of us who also watch Ashes to Ashes this year.

I liked Danny, he was one of the few people with personality on this years show and its a real shame he has gone. Obviously America only want boring people in the top 12.

He could sing but I think the majority found his personality and 'kid overacting in the bathroom mirror' style of performance frankly annoying.

The right people went through with IMO the exception of Amanda and Kristy

I think Carly will be the last girl standing, but i predict an all male final this year.

A really good show this week

I was shocked to see Asia and that Danny(I think thats him) go, I think they only like their boring country music though, all the ones who seemed to give it some atitude and put on a show always go.
I cant stand country music! Grr! To much yodeling!
I want the Afro girl or the Aussie guy to win now.

I voted for Michael Johns because he has yet to disappointment me and this week, he managed to make me want to listen to a song I really don't like much at all.

It was tough though.

Jason Castro - A beautiful performance of a beautiful song, though not the best cover of it that I have heard.

Chikezie - Not an outstanding performance like last week but not as bad some of the judges made out.

David Cook - He was one of only two who took one of the last songs that you would ever predict for them and did something different with it. Excellent.

Luke Menard - A terrible choice of song but the guy has an exceptionally lovely voice and has been unappreciated in this competition since the start of the live shows.

Danny Noriega - Did they set him up with that song or are the American public just too small-minded and too out of touch to accept his camp performances and attitude? The boy has personality. What is wrong with that? Vocally, visually and performance-wise, he was the best of the teenage contestants. It is an absolute travesty that he has gone out before the snoozefest that is ..................................

David Archuleta - Nice voice, very good for his age, and very savvy for someone so young in how to play the game but that is all I can say about him because he has the same effect on me as Valium.

David Hernandez - He's a good singer but I just don't like the look of him and I can't get my head around it. He looks like a younger version of a past neighbour who the other women in the street wet themselves over but who I couldn't see what the fuss was about.

Kristy Lee Cook - A nice voice but that's it.

Asia'h Epperson - Why did she save her best vocal for her farewell performance?

Kady Malloy - She was never among my favourites but I don't think she deserved to go this week.

Ramiele Malubay - She gave a great vocal performance. What were the judges hearing?

Syesha Mercado - I had to agree with Simon. Her song choice, her vocal, her performance, her outfit, everything about her was predictable. Then again, that is all she has been from the start.

Amanda Overmeyer - I was so pleased to see her get through after so many seemed to think that she would be out this week. She gave a very good performance and is undoubtedly one of the more recognisable contestants - visually and vocally. Whether it floats your boat or not is a matter of taste, it does mine.

Carly Smithson - As expected, a great vocal. I agree with Paula - there aren't the adjectives to describe this girl.

Brooke White - She was the only one other than David Cook to really put her stamp on her song. Her voice also sounded even purer and more beautiful than it usually does anyway.

Hi, great to see the old gang here. I seem to keep losing Thursdays, taking American Idol with it, but thank God for repeats. The men are fantastic this season, David A's voice and Michael for pure lust! I haven't got a firm favourite yet, each one seems to excel on a different night!
