Does anyone know any software that will back up the text messages on my Sony Ericsson K800i. Thanks. |

I've heard that myphoneexplorer is apparently way better than the SE PC Suite, is that true?

That leads me to a question, have installed myphoneexplorer and it only gives me 2 connection types: COM1 or COM2 no USB or Bluetooth, why?

1) Connect phone using original SE USB cable (assume you have installed the correct USB drivers from SE site). 2) Open MPE, click on File>Options (or press F2) 3) Select "Connection" then click on "Search for Device". This worked for me when I first installed it. It found the phone & created a new 'connection type' (COM4) which I then use each time I run it. If you now select "Startup" you can select some settings, like "Connect on Startup" which will automatically use this 'new' connection type to find your phone when ever you start MPE. IMHO it's one of the best (free or paid for) pieces of S/W I've ever come across ! I personally would need something pretty unique about a new phone to move from SE if it meant I lost use of MPE. |

mmhhh.. I'm sure that at one point you were able to connect via bluetooth (I tried it once, although unsuccessfully)...gonna check on the myphonexplorer website...yep, there's definitely a way for bluetooth...just don't ask me how
