I set my Hummy to power-off at midnight and on again about 17:00. Since the OTA update, it seems to go into a "semi powered-off state". The picture goes blank and the front panel display shows the time, however the fan stays running and if you attempt to power on, then it comes back instantly and the EPG is fully populated. Some may say this is a good thing, however perhaps not so good for standy power consumption. Anyone else noticed this?

I had this problem with v10020, but it only occurred over one night and then went away. After installing v10021 everything seemed fine, but it suddenly started again last week and continued for three nights consecutively. I did a default system reset and this appears to have fixed it for the time being. Of course you lose all your timers!

I have never had the automatic switch off/on set so do not think this is the problem. I thought I read once that having automatic firmware updates set with the latest firmware may be the cause, but I feel that this is due to the box coming out of standby, checking for programme start times or series link schedule changes and then not going back into proper standby mode.

I've noticed this too over the past couple of weeks. I've been going in the lounge every morning and sometimes the fan will be running but the Hummy is not on. I just thought it was an "Enhanced Feature".

Default settings and switching off auto-update worked. I am now happy (for the time being). Thanks Caoimhghin.
