Moved SIM card to different phone. Where have my contacts gone?
Question:
I have a Nokia phone with approx 50 contact names on the SIM. I take the SIM out and transfer it to a Sony Ericsson phone. When I look at SIM card contacts on the SE only two of them are listed. Both phones are set to use SIM memory. The two contact numbers which appear have nothing in common. I've tried this several times and have double checked that SIM memory is in use on both phones. What's going on? |

If you have anything other than a name and number the contact will be saved to the phone not the SIM. Other than that I would use another method like syncing with your PC or using an online service like O2 Bluebook.

Sony Ericsson completely messed up my SIM card. I had all my contacts stored to my SIM in my K800 and put the sim in my new W880 and only part of the contacts transferred J-Z or something like that. I lost all the others
And no they aren't stored on my K800i they were on the sim
