He does still skate just not on T&D's show.

Personally I'd like to see all the judges skate to a song together. Then lets see how cocky Jason and Ruthie are.

They showed a bit of that on GMTV yesterday. You tend to forget just how brilliant he was don't you. So smooth and elegant.

There are a lot of brilliant clips of Robin on You Tube if anyone is missing his performances on the rink.

He was my favourite back then,he was fantastic T and D do thier routine just wish he would.

I must admit he was an idol to me.as well as Alex Higgins.its the era i think.

Mine too. I remember tuning in really late to see his performances, with everything crossed for him.

Given their relationship (or lack of!!) it could be fun seeing Nicky and Karen skate together again! That's one training VT I would like to watch!

I didnt really watch skating much back then but I did see some of his skating the other morning and think it would be great just to see them all have ago at it again.

Then I watched T&D, John Curry and Robin. What a wealth of talent we once had - what happened? Why was there no follow on?

And personality in bucketloads! He makes a great judge too, he's very earnest and has a lot of knowledge. Basically, he rocks!

I find it extremely irritating that his opinion is not sought often enough.

Jason sits in the middle lording it over everyone else - Robin simply isn't given the opportunity to show his authority as head judge.

Jason is an idiot with a big mouth- which is sometimes insulting

It's funny isn't it, that the Ice Skating and Snooker really were prime-time TV and had such a huge following...I also remember that Eric Bristow filled (quite literally) our screens at that time too...!!!!

I loved watching Robin skating...they were great days - I can remember my Mum & Dad getting me up out of bed to watch some of his late night performances...what a treat!

I think it would be great to have Karen, Nicky and Robin dancing in the finals show with T&D.
