Being a hopeless romantic myself, I also hope they will get it together. They are both conscious of the cameras following their every move and after the loudhailer incident know it is being blown up in the media too. I don't blame them from trying to keep their cards close to their chests when they're sober. Unfortunately the demon drink tends to loosen those tongues. Another of her comments from last night was "I hope you'll still be talking to me until I die". (and I don't think she meant him boring her to death with inane conversation LOL)
I believe Scott confirmed he would although I can't remember his exact reply.

I'm glad theres another hopeless romantic myself out there hehe I keep wondering what would of happened if the megaphone incident never happened. I'm glad it did in some ways as I think it made them both think differently and made Nush sort out what she feels for her bf now and what she feels about Scott. I think Scott said definitly i think, and also told her the things she said about him was the nicest things anyone has ever said to him. I like Scott especially his story about the crabs when u're sleeping part. Never got shown tho on Channel 4.

Am I the only one who doesn't really care if the relationship is genuine or not? It's just dull

Well you are on this thread!haha sorry! Steveuk i thought u would of noticed that dude. She also said that they have to keep in contact and every couple of days she'll be annoying him. They are either going to be a great couple or best friends. I know which one i'd choose but i'd settle for the other as well.

Another hopeless romantic on board... (hey I've got nothing else to keep my interest in BB these days)

Finally was able to catch up on all events last night (thank God for the VCR!) and things were very cosy indeed between Nush and Scott. The number of times Nush said " I don't give a c**p" is interesting, particularly as neither party was as drunk as they were on the 'spin the bottle' night but fascinatingly were far, far more affectionate towards each other than they've ever been. It's easy to dimiss this as ploy to keep Nush in or as some part of grand gameplan, but on the flip side of the coin, what if the very real possiblity of Nush going on Friday adds a bit more urgency to their dynamic? Scott and Nush were very much in their own world most of the night and they didn't give a damn who saw or who thought what. Nush said alot of sensible things last night, I thought she really came into her own and if I didn't like her already I would definitely be a fan of her after last night.

Whatever happens with these two outside the house, it's clear to me that there is a genuine friendship at the very least between them. I think they've made a connection, on many different levels. And that's always good to see.

Glad to hear another one's on board yay! Yesterday nite was the greatest live show this BB (i guessed you taped it off E4) As you say they weren't as drunk as they were in the reward room. Scott seemed quite sober to be honest and when Nush left the diary room after her accident (made me laugh but poor girl) she had sobered up a bit and thats when she told us about how she felt about Scott on the bean bags. She paid him BIG compliments, shame he didn't return the favour (damn nerves!!) but was there for her later on in her time of need, looked really comfortable there on the sofa just them two didn't they, hugging all the time, cuddling etc. A great nite for us Nush and Scott fans. If people say that she did what she did with Scott cuz she was drunk then I think they're wrong as all week they've been close having their own chats before nominations were even announced and I think on Wed nite she had just had enough and wanted to be normal with Scott instead of them tip toeing around eachother. Think Scott was glad that Nush said she doesn't care anymore as he didn't know how to act around her. As my thread about westlife - world of our own being there song it is so true. They are always sitting next to eachother and usually remove from the group in conversation with just themselves instead and about the weirdest conversations as well. That shows closeness in my opinion. I think they're going to be even the closest of friends or become a couple when they get out. They seem to connect on many wavelengths as u say, understanding eachother. Especially yesterday Scott knew Nush was down and comforted her twice.
I don't want Nush to leave but it would be interesting to see what she does relating to her relationship with her boyfriend who in my opinion isn't worth it. Nush is special and he doesn't deserve her. She has a bloke's/women's and in my opinion thats what men find hard to find but want so much.

The thing I find interesting is the language they both use, both verbal and physical. People who are very close (especially in love) use a powerful technique called mirroring. Try watching couples you know to see it in action. Mirroring means you subconsciously copy each other. It lets you know that you and the other person are in synch. Nush and Scott have developed their own language, which to some outsiders may seem irritating but to them is reassuring. Their behaviour, pattern and response to things is often very similar. Very sweet.

You're not related to Ben4321 are you? LOL

It's difficult when they're not in front of me. I have to do it from memory. Let's go back to the reward room. They talked a lot of mmmmm's and aaarrrr's in the middle of sentences. Now if Nush had talked like that to say Cameron, he wouldn't have had a clue what she was talking about and may have said so. But with each other, it made perfect sense. They have both developed a habit of not finishing sentences in each other's company. If Nush touches Scott's arm, usually Scott will touch her arm immediately after. Somethimes, one of them will say a word like "obviously" for example. And then the other will repeat that same word.

I hope this makes sense. It's actually a very powerful tool to use if you know about it. You can use it to a lesser degree, but just as effectively with someone you want to get to know better or get on with or even fancy. Copy their idiosynchracies and verbal pattern. See what happens.

Spot on Shelley.

I've noticed that Scott and Nush "mirror" each other quite a bit and I find Nush's comment about their biorhythms particularly interesting. Some of the reports on the official website seem to have picked up on the fact that they've started finishing each other's sentences and pretty much understand each other without much prompting or indeed much articulation via words.

A few nights ago Nush commented that Cameron couldn't possibly want to listen in on their conversation because it wasn't interesting and Scott quipped that they rarely talk about anything that anyone else would find interesting. His exact words were " we might find it interesting but nobody else will, try translating some of our conversations to them and see how you fare". Must admit to chuckling a bit at that.

Oops, getting carried away again. But I find it fascinating to watch.

His my brother! lol
Thanks for the examples, i wasn't being a meany. I'm a Scott and Nush fan as u can tell by the name hehe. I never realised there was a theory about copying eachother's actions and stuff, very interesting stuff indeed. I just hope Nush see's it when she gets out how close those two actually were and will realise her bf is not worth it, especially after selling out to the papers which she thought he wouldn't do. She's told Scott that she loves him but their lifestyles are very different. I think she's thinking very hard about it especially since meeting Scott, it has put her relationship with her bf under the microscope as Scott can offer her a lot more then he can. He is willing to commit, in my opinion he is the commitment type.

Get carried away it makes great reading, for me anyway. Did Nush say something to Jon about her and Scott's biorhythms?
I found that really quite sweet (can't believe i said that and i'm a man) when they talk in their own silly way that only they truly understand. I think I remember Scott also saying he tried to tell the others about one of the stories (the crabs who take u away when u sleep story) he told her and they didn't understand it.

Mirroring is more than a theory. There are books written about it. I am a people watcher and am very interested in body language, etc. The only good thing about Nush (perhaps) going Friday is that she will be apart from Scott for a week and absence does make the heart grow fonder. It will give her the time and space she needs to sort out things.

I missed her saying she loved Scott. When was that???? and when did she say their lifestyles are very different? I actually didn't think they were.

Yes, Nush and Scott did tell Jon about their bio-rhythms.

A man not afraid of the dreaded C word (commitment) is very rare indeed. I've never met one...not that I liked enough anyway.

She didn't say she loved Scott and that their lifestyles were different, she was talking about her bf, sorry that I didn't make that clear. I would be over the moon if she told Scott that

Lets hope she notices what she's missing in Scott when she's outside the house. I think she's had some time and space in the house but being out side with give her a clearer head as u said. I just hope that if she is evicted (please god no) that there is a special highlight segment for her and scott and i'd like to see her reaction to that. Be great if she got teary, sorry if that sounds weird but it will be good to see how she really feels about the things those two have done together and how close they actually were. She'll probably realise that his very special to her and that he liked her with all his heart, even loves her, and he will too when in the house without her by his side.

About the mirroring i've noticed how close they've been especially with Scott picking up on when Nush is upset. It happened twice last nite and he just knew. They have a very close bond in the house.

I thought I'd see what their starsign compatibility is

The last paragraph is particularly interesting.

That stuff is crazy, so true some of the words written there.
These parts stood out for me with the Nush & Scott thing:

'One of the strongest points of the relationship is open and honest communication' - they have this without a doubt they both talk to eachother about things that they don't tell any of the other housemates, nush especially does this.

'As long as they aren’t too harsh with one another, their relationship will be fulfilling in every way' - I think this represents the school boy/girl relationship with eachother always pretending to say nasty things and pretending to hate eachother. They are never too harsh with eachother and never take it to heart in my opinion.

I know this is going to sound stupid but if u listen to the lyrics of the house theme e.g. Westlife's 'World Of Our Own' you'll see that they describe well the relationship of Scott and Nush. I did a thread about it earlier today if anyone's interested.

Star signs reveal an awful lot about character traits. Scott and Nush's Virgo match is very spooky. Good reading. I'm a Scorpio so that means I would probably get on with Jon best in the house, romantically. That's a worry.
