new hummy..having difficulties
Just wired up my new hummy 9200TS...looks great. Everything seems to be OK except two things...
channel strength and quality is great on all programmes except BBC. All the other channels are transmitted from my local station at Emley Moor...the BBC channels are shown as coming from Belmont in Lincolnshire and are pretty poor (around 50%). Also, I can't see any programme details for the BBC channels when I use the GUIDE function on the remote control. Is there something I can do to rectify this please so all channels enjoy a good reception and all can be seen in the hummy using GUIDE? thanks for any help |

Hve a look at this post
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...ht=manual+tune Emley Moor uses Ch52 for MUX1 and Ch46 for MUX B (the BBC Multiplexes). Belmont uses Ch30 for MUX1 and so the tuner will have seen that first. You may find stronger channels in the range 800 onwards in the PVR's channel list. What you probably have to do is delete the current BBC channels, both in the normal range (1 = BBC1, 2 = BBC2, 7=BBC3, 70= CBBC, 105) and in the duplicate range (800 onwards) then do a manual scan on UHF Channel 52. Best of luck. |

Thanks for help so far..I have manually done the changes and it seems to have worked..the only problem now is that the programmes in GUIDE have loads of gaps in them so I can't use it for recording...any help again please?

Leave the Hummy tuned to BBC1 for 10 minutes. BBC1 is the best channel for populating the EPG. Other channels are worse (some are significantly worse).
