Favourite box of chocolates?
What is your favourite box of chocolates? As far as I am concerned you can keep all the fancy continental chocolates. Give me a box of Milk Tray anytime.
My favourite chocolate of all time had to be the half barrel, filled with runny lime filling, not sure who made that one though. |

I quite like Thornton's Continental for an ordinary box of chocolates. Though if someone wants to push the boat out for me, I'd be thrilled with a box of Charbonnel et Walker chocolate covered Rose and Violet creams.
A mere £25 for 370g ![]() Just had a peek at their website and I see that their celebration box of chocolates is £150 for 2Kg. Good grief! Ecdit to add - they also have an Easter egg for ....wait for it....£650. |

I have a 360 gram box of hotel chocolat sent to me every month, thats £17 a time. |

They do some lovely toiletries and cosmetics, too! Everything is cruelty-free, and every purchase made helps the campaign to end animal suffering.
![]() It's for a good cause as well.

I used to like weekend chocolate lots of different flavours I'm new to the forum and joined because of the interesting threads on chocolate. I must say hearing Weekend chocolates being mentioned gave my memory a MASSIVE jolt! They haven't entered my head in donkey's years! but I now clearly remember them...beige/creamy coloured square, not very big, box? They disappeared off the shelves ages ago....don't remember the chocs being much cop though....I think the packaging looked less 'glamorous' too compared to the Milk Trays, Terry's All Gold, Black Magic etc...

Me too! I only remember the bright green ones though!
Welcome btw, I hope you don't eat too many choccies and do something resembling your name! Thanks for the welcome! It's funny you should mention the possibility of 'spew'ing where chocs are concerned because I was in serious danger of doing just that after sampling the new truffly 'imposters' inhabiting the Nestle Black Magic box! Nestle's snobby 'revamp' of these glorious, classic & super-popular chocs has, to be frank, disastrously backfired! They are totally unrecognisable and totally VILE! Probably the first chocolates EVER, that I couldn't keep down...yuck and YUCK again!!
