Amanda Overmyer - granted she's had a couple duff weeks but last nights was ace.

Brooke White - LOVE the tone to her voice, a slight husky-ness which is brilliant

Jason Castro - I like his folki-ness, something a bit different

David Archuleta - Really liked Shop Around, not too keen on the duller songs, he needs more uptempo stuff

Brooke and Amanda for the girls.

David C and Jason for the boys.

Unlike most years there isn't anyone there who is so awful I can't stand. Although the hype over David A's simpering performances is irritating.

Michael but I do feel he's been going through the motions the last few weeks and does need to step it up pretty quick.

Syesha Mercado Is our favourite closely followed by Carley Smithson.

We use to like Michael Johns but he is getting worse week on week and is starting to gain a huge ego.

On the male front both the Davids are our favourites but perfer the two girls over them.

Brooke and Jason. I've had enough of big belting voices on AI , it's nice to have a change

It's hard to choose this year, there really aren't any duffers in the top 12 -- Big change from the past two years!

From the guys, for me it's between it's between David Archuleta & Michael Johns.

As for the girls, I like them all! But if I have to choose, Brooke White, Syesha Mercado & Carly Smithson. That said, all of the really pretty ones except Kristy Lee Cook have already been eliminated, so I hope she sticks around for a while yet.

My only favourite at the moment is Syesha. In my eyes she is a bright star not only in music, in other areas as well.

This year the standard is higher and different. Now that we in the top twelve am sure I will have another pick soon.

SNAP!!! You have excellent taste in AI contestants. David H gets my vote in the Poll.

That's actually a good list. There are a lot of annoying contestants this year, and this list avoids them.

My favourite's David Cook too (unique, very talented, seems cool!) but I like Kristy Lee Cook (my two tough Cookies! ) too. (She seems sweet, loved her performance this week, she'll be a grower!)

Aside from those two,

David Archuleta - one of the most talented but too obvious a winner
Chikezie - fun and talented, needs better songs
Carly - taking over from Amanda by giving better performances but lacks vocal control

Syesha - shows promise, needs to avoid predictability and also lacks vocal control
Amanda - should pick songs we've heard of, it's one thing being different but you have to be consistently good too!

David Hernandez/Jason - Have warmed to and been put off by both at times, DH is a better singer but JC is more unique.

Brooke - Annoys me but I can see her appeal.

Michael, Ramiele - Don't see either of their appeal, to me they're consistently average and it's not that they're not likeable, but they're not especially likeable, if that makes sense.

Very shocked to find i loved David Cook's Hello!! I think i have a new favourite, but then again i am very fickle Still lovin David A too, he's such a cutie. None of the girls are doing it for me but for the love of god someone tell Amanda Overmyer to bloody well cheer up!! The other David also impressed me which isnt bad considering i forgot he was there
