I have quite a few favourites, Jason, the Davids, Carly and Brooke. But I went for Brooke as overall favourite. She knows her own style. I like that.

I liked Alaina n Kady, but they're gone. Michael's probably my fav. Brooke's growing on me tho.

Brooke is my favorite because she has the ability to connect with her songs and knows how to make use of her voice in the best way possible . I usually prefer the stronger vocalists, but this year, she is the standout performer in my oppinion.
Chikezie, as of his performance of the Beatle's tune, is the vocalist with the most potential and overall natural ability and range, but I don't think he has the overall stage presence, etc, needed for this kind of show and musical path.
Carly is a strong singer, but she forces her voice beyond it's capabilities too often and , although she does have a reasonably big voice, she does not have the range to handle some of the songs she attempts. This really puts me off as a listener, although I do think she is capable of sounding great when she chooses songs that suit her voice .
A few of the other guys are good, but haven't chosen songs to really show weather they are outstanding or not in my oppinion. Ditto the rest of the girls. I do think there could be some interesting performances from the others yet to be heard, but for now, Brooke is the finalist I find most interesting to listen to.

Just thought, I would like to hear Carly try 'self control' or a similar song by Laura Brannigan, who she kind of reminds me of. That would be perfect for her voice .It wouldn't overtax her voice and would really show the best of her tone.

I voted for Syesha, though I also really like Carly, Ramiele & Brooke.

This is the million dollar question? You raised a very good observation.

Yet, she does have a lot of silent voters especially off-line and on-line who believe that she is very talented. I would imagine a lot of women may say because she appears sophisticated, pretty and confident could be interpreted as arrogant and full of herself. On-line the argument is for 'lets knock her down to size' she is a bitch. This is lethal as that argument spreads like wild fire on forums and the media. I can safely say half of it is green-eyed jealousy. Its because they feel threatened and want her to be vulnerable.

They use her acting background to call her 'fake' which as an older woman myself I cannot see. Her commercial background with Ford agency does not help either as they feel that she should stick to that. Her dress sense and hair is under constant scrutiny because she also comes from a modelling background. She is called 'Screemyesa' on many forums especially by women and young girls because they claim that she screams a lot when she sings-which is just not true.

As for polls they are irrelevant. Jennifer Hudson who I loved was one of the most hated on these forums. But look who is having the last laugh now. I just hope Syesha is not allowed to read these forums she may or may not become disheartened. Its pressure enough been on these shows, but she did sign up to it. However, it does not mean she should be abused constantly every time they see her face or hear her voice and name. This is human behaviour for you.
