Yes, she's great. Fur and Gold is a brilliant album.

I'm a massive fan. I really love the album , it's fantastic.

My favourite tracks would have to be be Prescilla, Trophy and Horse and I.

Been a fan for a while, yeah. Her album's brilliant, Horse and I is my favourite.

I was quite suprised at all the recognition she got with the Mercury prize... I'm glad in a way because she deserves it but I'm afraid now she might lose some of that quirkyness that made her so appealing in the first place - ditching the fabulous girl band she had backing her being the first step...

I'm a big fan. I only discovered her part way through last year, but Bat For Lashes are/is amazing.

I still don't know for 100% whether Bat For Lashes is the name for Natasha or the band?

I Saw A Light is one of the best songs ever made!

There is only one song on the album that I can ever dare say isn't amazing, which is Seal Jubilee. Great song, just not as amazing as the rest.

Pretty sure it's just Natasha, her ditching the old band pretty much confirmed that.

I Saw A Light is indeed fantastic. Hated it at first, but I'm really glad I gave it a chance - it's definetely the darkest and most powerful track on the album.

I think we discussed this before, didn't we?

Something about the imagery created by I Saw A Light?

I'd love to know what Sarah is about. It's a very bitchy song.

I've never heard of her, I was surprised when she was nominated for Best Female at the Brits cause I love my music and yet never heard of Bat For Lashes.

Quite possibly. But it's the kind of song you can discuss forever cos it's so brilliant

Sarah is a tricky one. It seems like this girl 'Sarah' has lost her faith then dies (possibly suicide?)... Natasha says she wants to be like her... perhaps she's someone (a relative, maybe?) that Natasha looks up to, and has been told to follow in the footsteps of.

Great song anywho.

I love her. I hadn't heard of her until a poster on here (can't remember who, sorry ) recommended 'Sad Eyes' to me.

Once I'd heard that, I had to buy the album.

The 'shit eating breath' part of that song sold it to me

Bat For Lashes sounds like 'middle-Björk' - Vespertine and some of Homogenic (albums) are similar-ish, so check them out if you haven't already.
