Metallic phone covers. Help!!!!
I've been using clip on covers on my Motorola K1 for a while now to change its appearance. However, recently I bought two new ones that have caused my phone signal to completely disappear and 'No Service' to be displayed. I have tried using tin foil or covering the inside with sellotape but nothing works to stop this happening. Anyone have any ideas?

If the cover has metal in it then it will shield the aerial resulting in reduced signal. Tin foil will make it worse!
This is why phones with a metal body always have a plastic or rubber part for the signal to reach the aerial. Some of the cheap covers you get on ebay are essentially useless. |
