It was like the whole show couldnt be bothered last year, and watching the contestants tonight it was so much more enjoyable than any of last years shows.

I thought Melinda was the one bright spark in an otherwise very dull season last year and it's a pity she didn't go on to win.

He should've gone at 3rd place instead of Melinda.

I don't know about being the worst guest ever on AI - but yeah, his performance wasn't great.

It didn't blow my mind, but it was enough to make me seek out Audio Daydream and I'm glad I did - one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Wish I'd gotten it when it first came out now.

His album is amazing, some really good songs on there. I thought his performance was very good

The album is indeed great. A cross between marron 5/Justin Timerlake and OneRepunlic and i didn't think that last years show was like they couldn't be bothered. There were far more personalities last year than this(so far anyway. maybe people will come out of their shells soon)

He was terrible

He was awful last week, and imo always was.

Melinda and Lakisha could sing him out of the country, so god knows why he outlasted them.

The boys medley in the final last year highlighted the fact that Blake was the weakest singer of all the boys. He is the weakest runner-up in any talent show I've ever watched.

Its a shame though! I have to admit he was painfully out of tune. He looked like a new contestant. Perhaps they could have asked David H to sing in his place. Might have sounded much better.

I was pleased to see Blake again (and Chris S in his band) - always liked him and enjoyed his performance

He didn't shamelessly plug himself like a lot of guests on these programmes do either. I love Jordin too - she was my favourite last year - but I'm sure she'll be back later on in the series, maybe mentoring. I hope so!
